Riley McNamara is a distinguished graduate of the University of Ottawa, having earned a Bachelor of Applied Science in Chemical Engineering. Riley is diligently pursuing his Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation.

Riley joined the Northern Sun Mining team in 2019 as a Process Engineer in Training. His career at Northern Sun Mining has provided him with a comprehensive understanding of the processes and procedures associated with mineral processing and precious metal recovery. After three years of gaining valuable experience and honing invaluable skills, in 2022 Riley was promoted to Lab Superintendent.
